Hi friends! I’m excited to share with you one of my recent projects with Meraki Dental and the launching of their new clinic! I had the fantastic opportunity to work with two incredible dentists, Dr. Kevin and Dr. Vivian, at Meraki Dental. They’re passionate about helping people have healthy teeth while creating a welcoming, fun, and loving environment for their patients. Today, I want to share my personal experience working with Kevin and Vivian, and how our collaboration helped them launch their new clinic on the right foot.

The Spirit of Meraki Dental

The term “Meraki” carries a profound meaning, as it represents the act of infusing soul, creativity, and love into everything one does, leaving a piece of oneself in their work. This guiding principle deeply resonates with both Kevin and Vivian, as they wholeheartedly dedicate themselves to providing exceptional dental care to their patients.

As a photographer, my primary objective was to visually encapsulate the spirit of Meraki Dental, effectively portraying the unique personalities and professional demeanor of Kevin and Vivian through a stunning array of photo and video content.

Working with Kevin and Vivian

From our initial meeting, I was immediately struck by the passion and dedication exuded by Dr. Kevin and Dr. Vivian. These qualities shone through in every aspect of our conversations, as we discussed their vision and the desired outcome of our collaboration. As our project unfolded, I had the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of their individual journeys towards becoming accomplished dentists and the distinct characteristics that set them apart in the industry.

Their passion for their work and their dedication to their patients were evident in every conversation we had. As we collaborated on the project, I was able to learn more about their journeys to becoming dentists and the unique qualities that make them stand out.

Dr. Vivian, born in Taiwan and raised in North Vancouver, Canada, strives to provide compassionate care while overcoming dental anxiety through good communication and comfortable, pain-free visits.

Dr. Kevin, originally from a medical family, completed his dental education in Australia before moving to Vancouver. He is passionate about understanding the link between dental and systemic health and is committed to lifelong learning in the field of dentistry.

Capturing the Essence of Meraki Dental

During the photo and video shoots, the vision was to capture the spirit of Meraki Dental in every frame. During the photo and video shoots, we focused on genuine moments. we wanted to ensure we captured the essence of Kevin and Vivian’s personalities and the environment they created at Meraki Dental.

I focused on capturing candid moments, highlighting their genuine interactions with patients, and showcasing their expertise in their field. The result was a collection of beautiful images and a heartfelt video that truly reflects the spirit of Meraki Dental.

One of the most significant aspects of our collaboration with Meraki Dental was the creation of an introductory video where Dr. Kevin and Dr. Vivian could directly address their audience.
